Grilling is also the perfect way to cook your chicken wings all summer as it’s a super-easy way of cooking them as well as being a really healthy option. You can also easily add your favorite sauces here so you can make them exactly how you like them. In this recipe, I will be using two of the most popular sauces: BBQ and Hot Sauce.
Ingredients for Grilled Chicken wings
- Chicken Wings. Cleaned and trimmed and patted dry.
Spice Blend. This is the initial flavor that you’ll add to the chicken wings before grilling, so it’s like a base flavor only. The final flavor is added on after they’re fully cooked.
We have Salt, Pepper, garlic powder, oregano and olive oil, butter.
How to Grill Chicken Wings
Firstly make sure your chicken wings are as dry as possible. You can get rid of any moisture by patting them dry with a paper towel.
- Then it’s time to add the seasonings to give your chicken wings some great flavor. Use a bowl and add al ingredients together.
- Finally, add a good helping of oil over all your chicken wings and toss everything together so they’re evenly coated.
- It’s important to add oil to your wings so that you can get crispy crust. Without oil or another saturated fat, your wings won’t crisp up nicely.
- Now you’ve seasoned your wings it’s time to get them on the grill.
- Have your grill heated up to a hot heat of about 425 degrees F before starting to cook your chicken wings.
- When you are sure your grill is ready, place your chicken wings evenly on the grill grates and leave to grill.
- To prevent any burning and to keep them nice and crispy as well as evenly cooked, keep flipping the chicken wings every 3-4 minutes or so.

We are going to use two sauces for this recipe so that you have a good variety of flavors in this dish.
The first is bbq sauce. All you need to do is make sure you have your favorite brand of BBQ sauce on hand and place it in a bowl.

Serving your grilled chicken wings recipe
Once your sauces are prepared and your chicken grilled, you need to divide your wings into two separate bowls.
Above is the BBQ sauce bowl. Drizzle the BBQ sauce over the grilled chicken wings. Below is the Hot Sauce bowl. Drizzle the hot sauce over the grilled wings. Toss each bowl well with the sauce.

Instructions

Put all the chicken wings in a large bowl.

Next, add in your dry spice seasoning and olive oil. Toss well to coat.

Place the chicken wings on the grill and grill for 25-35 minutes total, flipping every 5 minutes for even cooking.

remove the wings from the grill and divide them into two bowls.

Add the BBQ sauce to the wings in one bowl and toss well.
